Student thesis: Doctoral Thesis

Abstract

This thesis identifies regulatory focus, level of goal concreteness and temporal distance of focal goal as moderators of the divergent effects of goal progress and goal commitment. It also provides evidence of the fact that divergent effects of goal progress and goal commitment do not alter as a function of the different stages of goal completion.
