Introduction
• Law enforcement recruits are required to complete academy training (Lockie et al., 2018, 2019)
– Establish patterns of behavior, values, attitudes
– Teach procedures required for job
– Ensure physical development to tolerate rigors of job
• 6-month process  physical training major component
