Abstract

This paper looks at a recurring theme that there shortages of IT graduates to fill skilled IT worker positions. This was evident in the 1980's then again 10 years later and now. The impacts were usually felt in the US and then Australia shortly later. We seem to be ignoring the signs of the past and what is happening now. When will we ever learn?
