Abstract

This is the third of three articles on the life and work of Sir Walter Campbell, Queensland jurist and Governor. This article examines Walter Campbell’s family background, his education, marriage, air force days, his experiences as Governor and his wide-ranging interests. It concludes with an assessment of the impact of his multi-faceted life.
