Emeritus Professor Graham Peirson passed away in October 2018 aged 80 at his property near Daylesford, Victoria. Our collective sympathy is extended to his wife Christine and wider family.
Graham was a scholar at Monash University from 1963 until retirement in 2002. In addition, he held visiting appointments at University of California, Berkeley, University of Illinois, University of Florida and the University of Washington. During much of the last 20 years of his long tenure at Monash, Graham provided strong and direct leadership as Head of the then Department of Accounting and Finance and as the Director of its Centre for Research in Accounting and Finance.
