Abstract
The integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) into management education represents a (potentially) transformative shift in learning and teaching practices. We are excited to engage with others interested in exploring the applications and implications of this teaching tool. In this interactive session, we present four GAI-based activities - three formative exercises and one summative assignment - from negotiation and HRM courses. The exercises can be applied to any discipline in management education. Attendees should bring their laptops so we can experientially engage in at least two of the activities, maybe more, depending upon our discussion.

Other | Welcome to MOBTS Oceania, 2024! We look forward to hosting you at University of Queensland in Brisbane, Queensland from January 30 – February 1, 2024, and receiving your proposals. The phrase ‘living your best life,’ seems designed especially for the Oceania region. With the sand, sun, forests, mountains, seas, and rich cultural heritage and traditions around us, it is easy to be inspired by the beauty in which we are surrounded. In this Call for Proposals, we want you to reflect a different kind of inspiration – that of your own teaching experience. Our Call for Proposals is a simple one: we want you to be ‘living your best teaching experience’, and we want you to engender your enthusiasm with others. Our only emphasis is for sessions which are interactive and / or experiential. Show us your best stuff! Transfer the excitement, engagement, and energy of your (physical or virtual or hybrid) classroom practice to a group of like-minded management educators, eager and willing to adapt key innovations and learnings to their own classroom experience. You might think about how you have engaged students in their learning, what you are taking forward out of the pandemic shift to virtual learning, or how you bring new pedagogies and practices to life in your classroom. |
