Up there with Christmas': Camp improves life for teens with limb difference

Research output: Contribution to journalOnline ResourceEducation

Abstract

Every March, teenagers from across Australia travel to a camp south-west of Sydney. These campers have one thing in common: they are all limb deficient or limb different.

The camp — officially known as Australian Limb Difference Youth Camp, but referred to by all and sundry as Amp Camp — is organised by the Amputee Association of New South Wales.
