Abstract
The invention of genomic sequencing provides researchers a powerful tool to examine diseases in genetic level, which can provide more precise information for treatment. With development of
health informatics technology, there are more tools developed just like genomic sequencing, which can provide new perspectives to examine diseases. To embrace those new approaches, researchers need couples of new mindsets, just like understanding of genomic sequencing, to know how to explore diseases in the era of precision medicine. This month’s Editor’s Choice articles demonstrate three different approaches to explore brain tumor, metabolic disease, and physical movement.
