Abstract
Martin Skitmore, Senior Lecturer and Director of Research and Postgraduate Studies at the University of Salford, uses a multivariate technique in a simultaneous survey of the UK and Hungarian construction industries in terms of the differences in the attitudes between the ages, gender, education, occupation and various measures of construction industry experience of the respondents. The major findings of the work indicated dominating influence of direct personal experience rather than reported evidence on attitude formation.
