Abstract

Rachel Perkins explains in more detail the first of the Uluru Statement’s aspirations; to hear Indigenous voices and for this to be embraced in the Australian constitution.

And, with the approach of the 250th anniversary of Captain James Cook’s claiming of the east coast of Australia, Rachel reminds us of what the view from the shore may have been, if their voices had been heard.

Written and presented by Rachel Perkins, an award winning Indigenous filmmaker.
