Abstract

[Extract] Long associated with strength and physical prowess, the biceps brachii constitutes the majority of the front of the upper arm. Together with the brachialis anticus) and brachioradialis, the biceps brachii is involved in flexing the forearm and is active in sporting actions that require pulling towards the body, like rowing, or raising the body towards the hands, like chin-ups and rock climbing.
