Abstract
Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) - mainly cardiovascular diseases (CVD), cancers, chronic respiratory diseases and diabetes are responsible for 63% of global deaths (14 million people annually) and their prevention has been identified as a priority by the World Health Organisation [1]. As a result, the World Health Organisation (WHO) has set a target of a 25% relative reduction in mortality from NCDs by 2025
