Abstract

This Chapter describes challenges faced by other groups and individuals who might be ‘marginalised’ in terms of a disability for various reasons in Australia, including in terms of accessing healthcare. Included in this Chapter are refugees and asylum-seekers, non-English speaking immigrants, the homeless and unhoused, incarcerated individuals (prisoners), those who have different neurotypes and the Rainbow (LGBTQIA+) Community.
