Abstract
We greatly appreciate the positive feedback from Joshi et alon our systematic review and network meta-analysis that identified evidence supporting the use of cranberry compounds and an increase in fluid intake for the management of urinary tract infections. As there is obvious hesitation in the ability of researchers to promote and recommend products as part of any study’s findings, commentaries such as that of Joshi et al to provide insight into how the research can be applied in a real-world setting are very much welcomed.
