Ranitidine and cimetidine for duodenal ulcer

Abstract

An endoscopically controlled trial on 37 patients with duodenal ulcers has been carried out. Ranitidine 100 mg twice daily or cimetidine 200 mg three times daily and 400 mg at night for 8 weeks proved equally effective and free of clinical adverse effects in treating duodenal ulceration.
