Abstract

To the Editor:

I am pleased to see that my Perspective piece (1) has engendered some debate, as this is at the core of progress. Although I do not fundamentally disagree with the points made by Harrison et al. (2) (indeed, these points are consistent with much of the analysis in my Perspective), these may have missed the fundamental point of my piece.
