Abstract
With the expanded significance of quality initiatives, the patient satisfaction surveys often help to lead a better performance of a practice with an increased quality of care delivered. In recent years, the Chinese government took initiatives and implemented reforms to improve health care and raise patient satisfaction. Sun et al. [2] analyzed China National Patient Survey data collected from outpatients and inpatients interviews at tertiary care hospitals from 31 provinces of China to evaluate the patients satisfaction. It was interesting findings that the highest satisfaction with diagnosis and treatment for outpatient and nursing care for inpatient reported. The patient–doctor relationship for both outpatients and inpatients observed strongest predictor of overall satisfaction. It is great to see that patient perception into quality assessment is being considered a crucial element for health system improvement since the National Health Care Improvement Initiatives in China are in next stages. The patient centered care should be a major component in the health care improvement mission around the world.
