Abstract

The issue of educational evaluation has been prominently present on the public agenda in recent years, and the international trend in the field of education indicates that it will continue to be so. For this reason, the dialogue between Mexican and foreign researchers captured in the pages of this work constitutes an important reference on the state of the educational reform in Mexico, as well as a diagnosis of the main challenges in its application. . Derived from the symposium Key topics in the evaluation of basic education. Dialogues with the International Academy of Education, which took place in Mexico in September 2016, this book brings together the collaboration of members of the International Academy of Education, whose texts are commented by Mexican researchers with an outstanding career and who are part of the National Institute for the Evaluation of Education (INEE) and the National Council of Science and Technology (Conacyt).
