Research output: Contribution to journalComment/debate/opinionResearch

Abstract

I must congratulate the authors for developing the methodology for evaluating the causal impacts of algorithmic recommendations on human decisions and conducting a randomized controlled trial to prove its effectiveness in the area of the criminal justice system. I have no comments on the proposed evaluation methodology, which looks sound to me. Still, I am not sure about the practical applications in the criminal justice system and other areas.
