Abstract
Queensland is facing a crisis in its criminal justice system not seen before. The
Commission of Inquiry into Forensic DNA Testing in Queensland goes to the very heart of the criminal justice system in Queensland. The inquiry was triggered
by concerns about the DNA testing thresholds used by Queensland Health Forensic and Scientific Services between 2018 and 2022.
