Conference7th Annual Australian Business Ethics Network (ABEN) Conference 2017: Business Ethics and the Public Interest
Country/TerritoryAustralia
CityMelbourne
Period10/12/1712/12/17
OtherThe theme for this year’s conference is Business Ethics and the Public Interest. We are seeking to promote the relationship between ethical practices at work and across organizations and broader public economic, social, political and environmental interests. This includes but is not limited to questions of corporate social responsibility and sustainability, questions of public interest raised by
the practices of management, leadership, marketing, accounting, and financial management in large and small organizations. We encourage the submission of papers that question, critique, support or encourage the role that businesses can or do play in the public interest both explicitly in their CSR activities or implicitly as a consequence of their modes of operating and managing people and resources in the global economy.
