Abstract
As EO was designed as a firm-level construct, there is a dearth of research that has applied the concepts to an individual level of analysis. The revised global entrepreneurial orientation (GEO) concept provides the foundation for a robust individual level platform since it is concentrated around a person's belief system. This platform allows the opportunity to use the formative five-component (i.e., innovativeness, proactiveness, risk-taking, competitive aggressiveness, and autonomy) configuration approach to conceptualising a typology of individual
entrepreneurial archetypes (IEA). We further establish how IEAs relate to the process of new value creation. Our model shows how cognitive processes, precisely, heuristics and biases, and entrepreneurial action influence decision-making to create and capture value.
