Abstract
The tendency observed among the experts is to conceptualize a prototype or average building and make forecast adjustments for features in the test project which differed from this prototype. This article describes the results of some research with practicing estimators to determine more precisely the accuracy of estimates in the very early design stages and the effect of different types of project information.
