Abstract
New Absolute cardiovascular disease (CVD) Risk Guidelines were commissioned by the Australian Government, through the Department of Health, and conducted by the Australian Chronic Disease Prevention Alliance (ACDPA), which brings together the Heart Foundation, Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Australia, Kidney Health Australia, and Cancer Council Australia. The results of this literature search and evidence summaries will be used to inform decision-making for the new Absolute CVD Risk Guidelines.
