Abstract

Part 2 of this series on allostatic load theory will focus on how monitoring personnel holistically, to account for the complexity of demands they face, can contribute to a well-rounded health and performance model supporting the tactical athletes. Background theory and physiology, as well as practical implications and value of monitoring and assessment, will be discussed.
