Abstract

The authors regret that the original version of this article omitted reference to the Australian and New Zealand guidelines for fresh and marine water quality (ANZG, 2018), where it is recommended that multiple sources of evidence, including chemistry, ecotoxicology, bioaccumulation, and ecology, are used for the assessment of impacts of pesticides on aquatic ecosystems.

Further, a clear limitation of this paper was the assumption that a pesticide registered for use on crops grown in the region was likely to be in use in the local region. However, no exposure assessments were included to confirm whether the pesticides were in actual use. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
