Abstract

This book considers building cost planning from the broader base of the design team perspective where all decisions whether they are concerned with design, cost, quality, time, community or value are seen to be interrelated. The focus of the book is the pre-contract or design stages where design decisions have the greatest potential to influence the use, final cost and value outcome.
