Abstract
Discussions about and research on the quality of life, ethics, corporate social responsibly, well-being, and happiness are gaining popularity in the field of tourism studies. These developments resemble trends in psychology where there has been a resurgence of similar research (Snyder & Lopez, 2002). This book on tourism and welfare by Hall and Brown is a welcome addition to these trends.
