Abstract

Background to the project
This project was commissioned by the AGIS Group to inform the LAND 125-4 Human Systems Integration Project. The primary AGIS point of contact was Mr Matthew Blinkhorn.
Aim of the project
The aim of this project was to support AGIS to provide information about aspects of the LAND 125-4 Human Systems Integration Project. The leading line of effort was scoped toward development of the underpinning scientific research support for the Load Carriage Visualisation Tool, currently titled ATLAS.
Scope of the report
This report encompasses the collaboration and direction provided by both AGIS (Mr Matthew Blinkhorn) and the LAND 125-4 project manager from the Australian Army (MAJ Stephen Wagner) and is limited to the ATLAS tool.
Limitations
This report is limited to the initial establishment of the ATLAS tool. The information within this document is based on literature about this specific topic area as well as on information supplied to the Tactical Research Unit by AGIS and through direct consultation with the LAND 125-4 project manager from the Australian Army.
