Abstract

This book analyses the current regulatory structure and how complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) is regulated by common law, specific statutory provisions, the TGA and health rights legislation. The book covers attempts by orthodox medicine to destroy or dominate CAM. Chapters in the book also cover the current structure of health care, precursors to control, limits on protection, TGA and regulation of CAM.
