Description
• To develop an array of realistic clinical scenarios/cases based on identified learning outcomes and evidence-based strategy;
• To organise and manage a video production session including identification and booking of a sound-proof studio and videographer at the Office of Learning & Teaching, in addition to briefing of simulated patients;
• To produce a series of short, high quality videos demonstrating key clinical communication skills and techniques in a simulated patient context;
• To provide educational feedback and commentary on each video in the form of subtitles and graphical text to assist with learner engagement and skill acquisition;
• To undertake the Essential Skills in Medical Education course, apply the skills and principles learned in the ESME course to the design and editing of the communication videos, and reflect upon such knowledge in the final MD Project Report.
