Project Details
Description
Investigating the design of selective ARTD8 inhibitors towards the treatment of castration resistant prostate cancer. Taking on an in silico approach to compound design, before organic synthesis & in vitro evaluation by enzymatic assays.
Plain Language description
Using organic chemistry, this project seeks to design inhibitors that would selectively target the enzyme ARTD8, which has the potential to assist in the treatment of metastatic prostate cancer.
Project Aims
Design a selective inhibitor of ARTD8
