Personal profile

Research interests

My research interests centre on understanding how digital media, particularly social media, are used within a society and the relationships that exist between the platforms, companies, and governing enitities within socieities.  I am acutely interested in how these relationships can be quantified so as to more broadly inform our understanding of the ever increasing digitisation of politics.

My present work is focused on developing an understanding of how social media technologies can be leveraged to promote and reinforce democratic principles and practice within society.
