Personal profile

Research interests

An expert at Dubai Police Forensic Department, Heading the Biology and DNA Section. My research interest is mainly Forensic Genetics and in addition to that I do have couple genetics relevant research collaborations. Currently, supervising (3) PhD students and (4) master students in UK, Australia, Bahrain and UAE. All of them are based on forensic genetics. I am interested in identifying candidates genes connected to human traits and phenotyping. I am also looking in different areas of human genetics such as mtDNA. As forensic Geneticist, I am looking forward to discover more powerful markers and developing robust assays for forensic genetics applications.
