Research interests

Previous research and publication has been in the history of Greek philosophy, the influence of Greek philosophy on early Christian thought, the apophatic tradition and the philosophy of the negative way.

Present research is on the subject of hope in Western thought, and the idea of the "moment", exaiphnes in Greek or Augenblick in German.
