Personal profile

Research interests

I have a PhD in Sport Science with a background in physical preparation in a variety of sports and populations. I have research interests and expertise on concepts relating to factors impacting on and optimising human performance, fatigue mechanisms, injury prevention, and the monitoring of training load using subjective and objective markers.

As a postdoctoral research fellow in the Tactical Research Unit, my research interests focus on investigating injury epidemiology and injury minimisation strategies in tactical and occupational environments, examining factors which impact on and optimise human performance in occupational environments, improving rehabilitation, and reviewing the multifactorial demands of tactical occupations.
