Research interests

My main area of research interest is in the application of sustainable development principles into structural engineering design. My area of research include performance evaluation of structures, composite structures, structural health monitoring and control of structures. I also actively conduct research in developing and design of cold-formed steel storage rack-supported buildings.

My other areas of research interest include development of sustainable energy-efficient composite materials in construction, pre-fabricated structural elements and modular buildings. I actively collaborate with industry to enhance knowledge in structural engineering and sustainable construction.
