My earlier work focused on how protectionism can affect the behaviour and performance of firms.
My more recent work is on the economics of corruption and the interaction between economics and politics.
Currently my two HDR students are working on topics where economics meets politics.
I am interested in supervising HDR students with an interest in microeconomics (using the term broadly).
