PhD thesis title

Citizenship by Investment in International and Supranational Perspective

PhD is Confirmed

Statement of research interests

My current research interests include laws of naturalization, citizenship and residence in comparative international, global and theoretical legal perspective. In particular, my research deals with emerging phenomena of direct sale of citizenship and residence entitlements, otherwise known as ‘cash for passport’ and ‘cash for visa’ municipal schemes. My research articulates the elements and investigates the aspects and requirements of legal model schemes for citizenship- and residence by investment programmes. This includes case studies of laws of the European Union, the Caribbean, as well as the Pacific.
