Research interests

I am a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Master of Occupational Therapy program at Bond University.

I hold tertiary-level qualifications in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and public health.

I completed my PhD at the Cancer Prevention Research Centre at the University of Queensland, where I aimed to understand the phenomenon of control group improvements in physical activity intervention trials.

My research interests include health promotion and topics related to promoting engagement in meaningful occupations in adults and older adults.

 

Current funded projects: Health Professionals’ perceptions of the barriers and enablers to safe and supported end-of-life care in the home environment (Northern NSW Academic health Alliance and NNSWLHD Collaborative Research Seed Grant; Alliance team member)
