Research interests
Prior to commencing at Bond University, Kylie was employed in the legal profession. Her experience in legal practice includes working at senior associate level and as in-house legal counsel. Kylie practiced in the areas of corporate, commercial, finance and energy law. Kylie joined Bond University in 2008, where she teaches contract law. She also shares the role of Transition Coordinator. In this role she works to assist first-semester students transition into law school.
Kylie’s primary research interest is in the field of legal education. Her particular interests relate to transition pedagogy, integrative learning, legal skills education, interprofessionalism and the application of complexity theory to legal education. Kylie also has a keen interest in contract law and energy law.
