Doctoral Thesis Title: Physical Activity and Motor Proficiency in Learning Contexts of Primary School Children: Relationships with Academic Performance.
I am passionate about promoting the health and wellbeing of children and young people. The focus of my research has included exploring associations between physical activity, motor proficiency and academic performance in children in the early years of primary school.
My research interests also include exploring innovative school-based physiotherapy service delivery models, and the role of the school-based physiotherapist in physical activity and health promotion.
