Research activity per year
Dr Joan Carlini is a transformative service researcher specialising in consumer and community involvement in health and medical research, with a strong focus on improving consumer wellbeing outcomes. Her work is backed by more than $14.8M in funding, has shaped co-designed patient education tools now used across Australian cancer care, and informs healthcare policy and practice through an interdisciplinary, strength-based approach.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
