Dr Joan Carlini is a transformative service researcher specialising in consumer and community involvement in health and medical research. Her work sits at the intersection of consumer behaviour, healthcare services, and public policy, with a strong focus on improving consumer well-being outcomes. She adopts a strength-based, interdisciplinary approach, integrating transformative service research and vulnerability theory to inform healthcare service design, policy, and practice.
