Personal profile

Research interests

I am deeply committed to advancing legal research and education, with a particular focus on environmental law, maritime law, and biodiversity. My academic journey has been enriched by over 15 years of experience as a practicing lawyer, where I honed my expertise in core legal principles and their practical applications.

I have published number of  articles on maritime law, exploring its complexities and implications in international and regulatory contexts, as well as other research articles on biodiversity, humanrights and  climate change, addressing critical issues in environmental conservation and sustainability. My current doctoral research investigates comparative climate change mitigation strategies, focusing on achieving climate justice in Iran and Australia.

In addition to my research, I am passionate about teaching and mentoring. I teach core subjects and also teach in the Law faculty and actively contribute to fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment for students. My ultimate goal is to bridge the gap between academic inquiry and practical legal solutions, addressing pressing global challenges such as climate change and environmental degradation.
