Personal profile
Research interests
My current research applies co-design and implementation science methods to bridge gaps in the use of effective non-drug interventions in Australian primary care. I’m exploring this through a case example of potassium-enriched salt, a simple, evidence-based intervention that reduces blood pressure and improves cardiovascular outcomes.
With a background in Psychological Science (First Class Honours), I bring expertise in behaviour change, decision making, mental health and survey design to health services research. My lived experience of chronic diseases shapes my commitment to centring patient and end-user perspectives in research design and implementation. My research interests span implementation science, end-user co-design methods, chronic disease (particularly diabetes and cardiovascular) prevention and management, systematic review methods, non-drug interventions and primary care health services research.
