Personal profile

Research interests

My current research interest is primarily concerned with the internationalisation of higher education, particularly, issues in language policy and planning,
teacher talk, and translanguaging. My previous research has included studies in multilingual education contexts employing teaching approaches such as
Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), English-Medium of Instruction (EMI), and plurilingualism. The theoretical framework in my research studies
has included ideas from Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL), and Bernstein's notion of the Pedagogic Device (Sociology of Education). At the moment, I am
working on a research concerning Content Teachers' Anxiety in multilingual education.
