I am a PhD candidate at Bond University, Gold Coast, Australia.
My research focuses on childhood malnutrition among infants and children younger than five years living in sub-Saharan African countries. This PhD aims to evaluate the determinants of undernutrition among those under five and explore effective interventions to address the problem in this population, especially in low-income settings. In addition, it seeks to synthesise knowledge from the existing evidence to enable the co-development of implementation strategies with stakeholders to be piloted and evaluated in a local Tanzanian context.
I have extensive work experience in Tanzania Public Services, actively supporting Tanzania's objective of improving accessibility of quality and adequate health services delivery.
I have also gained professional experience in the public health sector and health services by serving various positions in Regional Administration and Local Government in Tanzania (PO-RALG).
My research interests are Evidence-based Healthcare, Early Childhood Nutrition, and Global Public Health Governance.
