Personal profile

Research interests

I am currently working on my doctoral thesis, "Jeffrey Lee Pierce, A Psychobiograpy" under the supervision of Dr Donna Henson, Dr Alison Taylor and Dr Caroline Graham.  Psychobiography is  a blend of traditonal biography and personality psychology, and has been used to help develop  personality theory by psychologists such as Abraham Maslow and Erik Erikson.  The subject of my thesis, Jeffrey Lee Pierce, was a creative innovator, musician and author. I will be using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies and a flexible theoretical perspective in my thesis, in line with the recent work of Dr William Todd Schultz.
