Personal profile

Research interests

My research interests include neurobiology and cell differentiation. Current research objectives are the development of a small molecule, GMP-enabling protocol, for the development of photoreceptor cells from human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs). This project is the foundation of my PhD candidature within the Clem Jones Centre for Regenerative Medicine. This work will contribute to the ambition for a future stem cell derived treatment for those with Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) and other retinal pathologies involving the loss of vision.
