Research interests

I am currently a PhD candidate focusing on family offices, and more specifically engaging the next generation in business families. My thesis consists of four individual studies on family offices that are split into two distinct parts. The first two studies establish the current state of knowledge, and the research needs of family office stakeholders. The last two studies explore the issue of engaging the next generation in the family office, both from a high-level succession perspective as well as by focusing on specific mechanisms that family offices employ to engage the next generation, such as impact investing.
